PhilkIced: things are going as usual until now, except the AI is making a huge lot of more diplomatic proposals
Ail: it was buggy before
PhilkIced: I keep rejecting the Ambassadors non-agression pacts and open borders, she's mad at me
PhilkIced: and she's my neighboor
PhilkIced: we're gonna have some !FUN! soon
Ail: you reject the nap? so do you want to attack her?
PhilkIced: yep, she's on the same island as me, I don't like sharing my islands
PhilkIced: and it's the best way to test her combat
Ail: have you exchanged maps?
PhilkIced: yes
Ail: ok
Ail: this will help her ^^
PhilkIced: her city was blocking the path to the other side of the island and naval logistics is slightly out of the tech path
PhilkIced: so I traded maps
Ail: the ai doesn't cheat in knowing city locations unless it scouts them... but they certainly do a much better job at scouting (and ignoring the aliens while doing so)
Ail: i hope their defenses will be sufficient
Ail: what do you plan on attacking them with?
PhilkIced: I have 2 jeeps with titan armor and machine gun, 2 flame troopers in titan, one of the jeeps is rank 8 (ruins), the other and the troopers rank 3, no devices, pumping out 2 machine gun tanks right now too
Ail: sounds quite good
Ail: speed is normal?
PhilkIced: yes
PhilkIced: she's still demanding tribute some times and I didn't scout her for some time, so I'm not sure of her strength
PhilkIced: gonna check it with the jeeps before atacking
Ail: tell me when you know it ^^
Ail: is their city coastal or inland?
PhilkIced: coastal
PhilkIced: she stopped requiring tribute when my tanks got out
Ail: that's very good, it's actually a test-case for this very new build
Ail: for an issue we just discovered in the last version
PhilkIced: I scouted but could only find 2 machine gun soldiers, unarmored. Found a lot of boats on the water going north, I think she plans on atacking someone else
Ail: the soldiers are the only units in the city? oO
PhilkIced: not exactly, they are the only units in the city that I can see
PhilkIced: the position of the city makes it very hard for me to see more than a half moon around it
PhilkIced: and I can't see the city itself without opening borders and going in
Ail: you can hover over the city, ah okay so you see them from afar
Ail: it should have kept 2 of their strongest units as defense
PhilkIced: is there any way to queue up researches?
Ail: Shift
PhilkIced: if I click the last one it choses the fastest path
PhilkIced: I tried and didn't work...
Ail: ctrl?
PhilkIced: shift worked now, wow
PhilkIced: I could swear I tried it on the first time I got the game a long time ago and couldn't do it
Ail: well, it worked when i got the game and that was pretty long ago aswell ^^
Ail: butmaybe not as long as for you
PhilkIced: no, I'm quite sure I got the game after you
PhilkIced: probably my fault some way
Ail: is any of your cities coastal?
PhilkIced: alien agression was anounced quite some turns ago and I didn't get any atacks from aliens, probably just lucky, but telling you just in case
PhilkIced: no, not coastal
Ail: did you spot any hives nearby?
PhilkIced: yes, there is a big one nearby

PhilkIced: declared war
Ail: okay
PhilkIced: moved my army and took her first expansion
Ail: so she had one
Ail: how was it defended?
PhilkIced: a very small 2 pop city she had just made, only had 2 troopers
Ail: what were they equipped like?
PhilkIced: machine guns, unarmored, no device
Ail: that doesn's sound right :o
PhilkIced: maybe because it was a very small and new city?
Ail: well, maybe
Ail: but the unarmored bit is slightly disturbing ^^
Ail: but it might just have been units from the very behinning
Ail: and or the free colonization-fervor-unit
PhilkIced: now she wishes the city back
Ail: what do you mean by that?
PhilkIced: roaming around nearby with 3 machine gun troopers, titan armor, elusive device
Ail: titan is the first one?
PhilkIced: not engaging, probably because my army is stronger, maybe waiting for reinfoces
PhilkIced: second
PhilkIced: titan is armor 2
Ail: ok
Ail: i always say "white 2", "blue 3" and such to them ^^
Ail: yes, she should not attack if they are not enough, she should surround and prefer forrest/mountain if available (for troopers)
PhilkIced: I did have a very very good start and focused heavily on military, so the AIs might be temporaly out-teched, it could be why my army feels way stronger
PhilkIced: the city is in a good food position, wich is the only thing my start was lacking, so I'll keep it
Ail: ambassadors have very-low aggression, which means they usually are not putting too much in weapon-tech
Ail: did you mop up the three troopers?
PhilkIced: I kept my troops around the city, some inside it, and waited, 2 more troopers joined the first ones and all the 4 are advancing now
Ail: you mean your troops
Ail: are those blue troopers?
PhilkIced: no, sorry
PhilkIced: I mean 2 more of her troops joined her 3
PhilkIced: now they're 5*
PhilkIced: and advanced against my troops
Ail: what kind of weapons do they use?
PhilkIced: all machine gunners
PhilkIced: but 4 of them armor 2 and elusive device
Ail: is elusive the defense-device?
PhilkIced: there is one unarmored and no-device tough
PhilkIced: yes
PhilkIced: 25% when defending
PhilkIced: wich is why I'm holding still
Ail: so it's not like you can easily dispatch them?
Ail: are they on favourable terrain?
Ail: mountains/forrests
PhilkIced: they're on forest
Ail: good
PhilkIced: I could deal with them with what I have now, but would take quite a punch, wouldn't be an "easy dispatch"
PhilkIced: the tank would help me a lot, they have no missile launcher not tanks of their own, so it's a very big advantage for me
Ail: yes
Ail: but why "would"?
PhilkIced: cause I'm not atacking, I'm waiting for her to come
Ail: i see
PhilkIced: but she lost 2 troopers atacking and retreated the others, going defensive and holding back again
PhilkIced: shit
PhilkIced: the city is coastal
PhilkIced: and she came with 2 barracudas
Ail: where aliens nearby when she attacked?
PhilkIced: I have no anti-mech and lost a high-rank jeep
PhilkIced: not happy
PhilkIced: yes
PhilkIced: there is a nest close by
Ail: that is a semi-bug
Ail: i have to write a method to just count threir own troops and not of other enemies of yours before attacking
Ail: can you hold the city?
PhilkIced: yes, I can
Ail: the barracudas where machine-gun/titan/elusive i suppose?
PhilkIced: she came with everything, I held the city and killed all her army, but the entire world declared war on me because I have no army now
PhilkIced: they were machine gun and armor 2, no device
Ail: so you have some more contacts, i wasn't aware of that
PhilkIced: Sorry, I do have everyone
Ail: so your army also was heavily decimated?
PhilkIced: yes, I got heavy losses
Ail: did you share maps with all of them?
PhilkIced: I still have a machine gun tank and one flame trooper per city (3 cities cause I made one of my own)
PhilkIced: no, only one I shared maps was embassadors
PhilkIced: no one else
Ail: well, they probably shared it to the others :o
Ail: if really everyone declared war on you now, I would suppose that's pretty much it
PhilkIced: Terra didn't
PhilkIced: but she's the only one
PhilkIced: ambassadors are also proposing peace
Ail: since they also had a lot of losses...
PhilkIced: I think they have little to no army left too
Ail: maybe if you can must up enough army and the others trip in one by one you can hold afterall
Ail: oh and another important question: are you having fun the way it plays now? ^^
PhilkIced: probably, but it's gonna be hard to get a decent army now in time
PhilkIced: yes, it's a fun pain to be destroyed =D
PhilkIced: literally
PhilkIced: I like hardcore games
Ail: it's only 4 wars, right? ^^
PhilkIced: yes
PhilkIced: XD
PhilkIced: HOLY SHAT
PhilkIced: and this is the story of how I died
Ail: what?
PhilkIced: Divine and Imperium landed next to my capital at the same time
Ail: with a few units?
PhilkIced: no, definetly not a few units
PhilkIced: well
PhilkIced: actualy yes
PhilkIced: a few
PhilkIced: compared to before
PhilkIced: but armor 3
PhilkIced: and more troops each than ambassadors had
PhilkIced: so still a lot of troops when combined
PhilkIced: for some reason, tough, everyone seems to love machine guns and elusive device
Ail: and then they took your capital?
PhilkIced: Noxium and Solar also landed
PhilkIced: all the 4 factions are using purely machine gun + elusive device
PhilkIced: armor levels very between 2 and 3
PhilkIced: but weapon and device are all the same, all the troops
PhilkIced: and yes, goodbye beautiful capital, I'll miss you
PhilkIced: now Divine ascencion landed a couple tanks
PhilkIced: machine gun, armor 2, elusive device
Ail: they don't have artillery yet?
PhilkIced: Imperium is atacking the city I took from ambassadors with machine gunners and tame aliens
PhilkIced: no, no artillery
PhilkIced: Solar and Noxium are taking my second city with machine gunners purely
PhilkIced: Divine took my capital with machine gunners and tanks
PhilkIced: ambassadors are coming with a couple tanks too, but they're far yet, the city will fall before they get there to Solar Dinasty
PhilkIced: they keep landind more and more troops, all the 4 warring factions have a lot of soldiers here
Ail: that sounds real funny... you could have probably prevented it by not losing all your troops in that first war
PhilkIced: they're also using planetary bombardment
Ail: can i use this chat to post in a forum?
PhilkIced: Terra declared war too
PhilkIced: sure
Ail: Finally!
Ail: did take them long enough, though
PhilkIced: man, so many troops, so many, all armor 3 and deviced, and a lot of tanks too
Ail: from who?
Ail: you are still alive?
PhilkIced: everyone
PhilkIced: I'm holding on the city I took from the ambassadors
Ail: didnt you make peace with ambassadors?
PhilkIced: what was left of my army was there
PhilkIced: they declared war again
Ail: ah, i see
PhilkIced: lost
PhilkIced: I'm dead for good
PhilkIced: held bravely
