Things have been a bit quiet here lately. I thought I would try to liven things up by testing out a classic scenario by Carl Fritz as a multiplayer game. I quite fancy playing as Spain. I think France and England are the main protagonists. Should be a quick game as the map is not too large and there are only four players. Anyone up for a laugh?

I want to play with the Dutchmen. In Sid Meiers Pirates! i always play under the Flag of the Dutchmen. I just like them.
This is a Civilization II scenario about the Seven Years War in the
Carribean. England fought France throughout the world, North America,
Africa, India, and the Carribean during the Seven Years War. This strategy
was devised by William Pitt, the English Secretary of State, because he
knew England was too weak to confront France directly in Europe. Instead
he took advantage of England's naval power and confronted France where it
was weak. In the Carribean theatre, England grabbed most of France's
West Indies possessions and later captured Havana from Spain.
There are four playable tribes in this scenario: Englishmen, Frenchmen,
Spaniards, and Dutchmen.

The world is grey, the mountains old
Our people's heats are ashen-cold
No harp is wrung, no silver trumpet calls
The darkness dwells in europe's Halls
Yet we still remember, we few who dwell
In this far land beneath the trees
The truth
The Light
The dreaming golden spires
The Starlight on the western seas
Would take Britain

Cool, welcome aboard ye olde sea dogs. Just need someone to play the evil French!
Can I take the Miskits?![]()
Central America's version of the Sorbs perhaps?![]()
France is all yours. Any special house rules required?
England can start off. Shall we make this a hotseat game?

hier noch zwei "Böcke" in den Rules
Special Forces, 4, 0, nil, no,
Special Projects, 0, 0, nil, no
Should they both be set to no, no?
Radyserb next to play.
nil, nil makes it researchable ... a no prohibits this. The tech isn't given via events if I looked correctly ... so it is quite strange that you cannot research this. But I do not know if it is supposed to be that way...
