Hi naufragarRB,
could you turn on the resource icons the next time? I can see pigs 1-1 to your scout and cows on 8-8. Hopefully I haven't missed something, but there is also green land and a river(?) in the south/ south east of the scout? Looks like nice land to settle. Be quick, there could be someone in the dark.
Not sure if it is the best idea because there is nothing in the first ring of the city, but a city 8 of the tundra hill could have the cows and borrow the copper for the important buildings. (The monument should be possible to build quickly then)
Sorry for the late response, Maugitar. You're right that the land looks pretty green. I'm not sure why I haven't met anyone out there yet. I started to plan where my next cities will go, but I get Animal Husbandry next turn and I'll wait to see where the horses are before I make any decisions. I probably want to put cities next to to the cows and pig so they can grow fast. I'm behind other players in growth. Ziankali already has five cities!
oh there is already a city from Suite. I would try to settle next to the pigs first.
I wish I could say something else, but at least one food resource here and there would be nice. It looks so ..... empty.
Isn´t Willy already defeated?
If you say so! Players seem to be ~12 tiles away from each other, so I expect to find someone out there soon.
That would be nice, but I'm very, very happy to see the river and all that green land. I am imagining at least 1000 cottages.Zitat von Maugitar
But of course. While it's on my mind, how does the game assign colors for games with more than 34 players? I believe color is set by the civ, so what happens when you have multiple Germanys, z.B.? (I could stop being lazy and check, I guess. )Zitat von Midas
Thanks! I know this is unimportant to everyone else but: this is my fourth Pitboss, and in each one I've had trouble identifying an opponent by color.
Next turn my scout will approach Nane's borders. It's important to find out if his city is a distant outpost or a central position.
