I have been working on the unit stats for the next version of Aeterna Civitas. They still need testing to fine tune them, but they are a lot more offensive than they are now. Would there be any interest in using them in this scenario? We could set a date, say 10 turns in the future, for them to be introduced so everyone can adjust their plans. I just can't see the fun in slogging our way through siege after siege trying to kill off 20+ stacks of Phalanx!
Also, Civ2 Unlimited seems to be working fine in Bonaparte III. Shell we try and use it again here and see if we can get it working? Hopefully we can keep it as a hotseat game. I think it was Civi who was having troubles before. Might you be able to try it again Civi?
