The problem is that clans with potential will never get to unfold it. Really, the peace period should just affect the daimyo, and no gold should be given.
The daimyo should just "protect the land" for a while before being allowed to be used against other clans' core cities.
What you're saying is that the Daimyo should only be a defensive unit for a set number of turns in the beginning. I suppose it would be acceptable, but there's a catch.Zitat von Eurisko
Both the Mori and the Shimazu, in the capture of Bitchu and Chikugo, most likely captured the cities with their Daimyos.
If McMonkey and Karlheinz are OK with replaying their turns (and not using their Daimyos as attackers), this solution should work. Provided everybody else likes the solution. To recap, the proposed solution is-
1) The Daimyo cannot be used as an attacker for x turns.
2) And nothing else is changed.
Acceptable?

You suggested it. How many turns do you want?Ideally, it should be turns enough to research/build an army reasonably capable of resisting a Daimyo. Probably between 5-10 turns.

Eight turns before the Daimyos are unleashed sounds acceptable to me!
da hab ich ja ne mächtige Diskussion ausgelöst, kann mit jedem Vorschlag leben, vielleicht sollte jeder zwei Daimyos mit getrennten Eigenschaften erhalten, was aber den Nachteil bei zersplittertem Gebiet nicht ausgleicht
zu sneakattacks brauch ich wohl nichts mehr sagen, zumindest in Runde 1 haben sie nichts zu suchen ( das ist ja wohl das Minimum an Fairplay )

Zwei Daimyos sind etwas unhandlich, ich denke die 8 Runden Frieden Loesung wird wohl klappen.
