Airlift nukes? Well it would possibly make sense, yes. But is it possible ingame at all?
And about the Points ... it's the first time I play with that feat ... sorry, no changes to last post, I'd say. 1 Pollution until now to be cleared within two turns.

Oh man, that took some time...!
President Gerald Ford has gathered his cabinet to announce a change in US foreign politics, away from the Détente and towards a new arms race, forced upon the US by the agressive Soviet Union. Without regard for world peace or humanity as an idea, the USSR has decided to pursue it's military re-armament. Therefore, following the announcement of the new Soviet interceptir, the President has ordered a new fighter program to counter this new super high-speed interceptor. This fighter is expected to go into production within the coming months.
The President could also inform his staff that the US is on the verge of a scientific breakthrough. This new technology will allow submarines to carry sea born nuclear missiles. This invention, the president tells, will give the US and it's allies a tactical advantage over the backdriven Soviet nuclear technology, to work as a deterrance against a Soviet invasion, and avoid a beliggerent WARPAC from running over the free world with it's vast amount of manpower.

The West will of course live up to it's expectations and fight global warming, but the numbers speak for itself. The USSR is the world's biggest polluter and must do even more to curb it's problem with pollution. If the Premier want help in doing so, all he needs to do is to open the Iron Curtain and let sophisticated western engineers do the job.

I am going to have to spend a bit of time reading through the previous posts and working out my strategy so it may take me a while to post the Indian turn (IE hours, not days!).

Uhm, I am sorry, but I can't rejoin, because at first in just twelve days I don't have an constant internet connection anymore and the second I don't installed civ2 again and I lost the interest.
C'mon! We only need one lousy player for one lousy civ! Please! Anyone?
