To the USA: It is British policy that any and all warships of friendly nations may cross the straits we control. Our only request is that warships be announced and numbered (we figure some soldier at Gibraltar and Suez would be tasked with counting the ships passing by).
We are, however, uncertain if nations that do not reciprocate this free trade/free seas policy are truly "friendly" and we suggest that if Japan would like to reach Europe via Suez or Gibraltar, Japan may wish to consider lessening her tariff on British imports.
USA: Feel free to pass
