Civi, da gibts nichts abzustimmen. Das ist ein ganz normales Vorgehen.

Not sure if I am clear what the translation of Civi's comments mean. If Acedemia chained the ships then this is against the rules and his turn should be replayed. If he ferried them back and forth then that is a valid tactic and the turn should stand.

I can't see any tracks of shipchaining in academia's save, plus it would be useless over that short distance.

Civilionaut meant he was not sure if loading and landing of land units in the same turn is allowed. This practice is always permitted, as long as no special houserule forbids it.

Das wäre in diesem Fall sogar realistischer, und ich wäre für diesen Vorschlag offen, aber allgemein wird diese Regel von niemandem akzeptiert werden.

Ich glaube mich zu erinnern, dass mir diese Praxis bei meinem allerersten Civ2-Spiel vomTutorial erklärt wurde.

Ein kompromissbereites und tatsachenanerkennendes Verhalten ist im übrigen auch hier angebracht.

that´s what i´ve done.

i give you an example:
i place an "invasion barge" unit inside Le Havre. That units has 3 movements.
So, first move to the north. I disembark the units.
Second move, back to Le Havre. I load new units.
Third move, to the north again I disembark the units.

I did the same thing with some "merchantmen" units which have 9 movements but load one unit.

that´s the exaplanation. and from my point of view, you can´t consider this an illegal action...
i´ve played many pbems and i´ve never seen a rule against it.
i dont know... it´s like forbidding a tank to attack two or three times in the same turn.
i feel that the movement is a characteristic of the unit. if the scenario creator wanted to avoid this, he should have given a value of two movements instead of three.

and regarding this issue, i´d like someone to translate all the posts in german. the translator works fine, but it´s not perfect... i´d like to understand civilionaut´s posts in special.

have the french player ever invaded england? what did he do?

Fourth: Britain (battosai) resists against France (Cobra)
