After the assassination of the loyalist Kadyrov, Chechen separatist overwhelm the Russian army in Grozny and has gained full control of the region.
Aslan Maskhadov, the President of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, asks the UN to recognize the Chechens as an independent nation.


In the Philippines too the separatists Moro Islamic Liberation Front (also known as MILF) have established the Bangsamoro Islamic State, it too seeks recognition.


Recent successes of the Free Aceh Movement gives hope to the people that they too will achieve self governance.

The streets in Belfast are in chaos in the aftermath of a massive IRA attack against military and unionist targets.
The leaders of the IRA wishes to hand over control of Northern Ireland back to the Dublin government with the stipulation that there be no attempts to disarm the paramilitary organization.


Afghani insurgents attack coalition forces in the north and have gained control of Kabul.
Iran has strengthened their borders and asks the coalition forces to be involved in establishing stability in the region.

After several decades of bloody conflict, FARC have been able to beat back Uribe's forces and the fascist death squads and have marched into Bogota.
Some AUC units remain, but will be quickly dealt with.


In Palestine, two successful attacks are made against IDF border guards.
Hamas demands that the Western nations cease to support the brutal apartheid government of Ariel Sharon.

Meanwhile, in Iraq, President Hussein protests strongly against the accusations that he has weapons of mass destruction and pleads to the UN to put a stop to any illegal American invasion, inviting agents from all nations to inspect Iraq.

With this perceived weakness of Saddam Hussein and the success of separatist movements on so many continents, the PKK announces that it shall intensify the goal of the Kurds to establish an independent Kurdistan in northern Iraq and eastern Turkey.

I think the Rouge nations would need something to have a chance of keeping up with points though. I don't know what though.

If it turns out that they are falling too far behind after a few turns, we could add a few points to each category for them. I think we're all in it for the experience more than the win, so I don't think it will be a problem to amend as we go to make sure everyone is having a good, fair time

Shock and Awe



Coalition Forces led by the United States launch an all-out assault on Iraq with the aim of deposing the maniacal dictator, Saddam Hussein, and ending his pursuit of weapons of mass destruction. Early in the attack, cruise missiles are sent to destroy Iraqi air defenses around Baghdad and Mosul before carrier- and ground-based aircraft pummeled the targets.

Baghdad was found to be staunchly defended and ground forces had to fight house to house to take the city. After heavy fighting, coalition forces secure the city and have deposed of Saddam's hated regime.



Coalition forces lost one F-18 fighter to Iraqi air defenses, and one cruise missile failed to destroy its target.

The United States is dismayed at the advances of the IRA and wishes to make the following statement: Belfast is neither the IRA's to give, nor Dublin's to accept. In unrelated news, a carrier task group has been dispatched towards Britain for joint naval exercises.

The Philippines, Columbia, & Chechnya

We are disheartened to see the rise of terrorism in these nations and will be surveying the effect of the new “governments” on regional stability. Though the Philippines and Chechnya are no doubt affairs of other great powers, we will keep an extremely close eye on the affairs of the western hemisphere.

We are allied with Cuba and -of course- White Russia. Any attack on these countries will be an attack on Russia too.

We heavily protest against the european invasion in North Africa and the US invasion in Iraq. This is far away of your cultural areas! (If America has such thing like culture at all.)

We will keep track of the situation in Iran, Lybia, Syria and Burma and North Korea too. Any attack on these countries could lead to a declaration of war, but it´s not automatic.

This Allied faction is HUGE.
I will be playing it as seperate entities, as they are in the world today.
For the Afghanistan/Iraq wars I will use more or less only British units.
If someone If someone attacks one of the nations in the Alliance I will look at which nations it is allied to to determine what units to use to help out, and so on. Otherwise this faction would be a Behemoth.

The U.S. Atlantic Fleet and Coast Guard is put on Threat Level Orange and dispatched with speed to a freighter flying colors of a Rogue Nation, apparently intent on docking in an American port.

Due to the terrorist threat, the United States can only accept cargos from states that do not support terrorism. We have therefore surrounded this ship, and refuse to let it pass until its primary nation of origin and contents are declared. We intend to board!



In other news, the battle in Iraq continues to rage, with Mosul cleared of forces, but not taken, as per agreement with Coalition forces.
