Well, they can play their turns at the normal speed, I meant post the reply quickly?
That's a shame. I would highly recomend finding a cheap copy on e-bay or wherever. ToT has some of the best Civ2 scenarios (like Frederick the Great, Red October, Lost Legions, Operation Market Garden, El Aurens, River War etc...). The AI can be a tough enemy thanks to the much more complex events language and large events space!
There is a MGE scenario of the Roman Civil Wars too, called the Battle of Actium. Not sure how good it is mind....
I just took a look at that scenario. It doesn't look terrible, perhaps a graphics update would make it a bit more palatable. Any scenario with units for Spartacus, Jesus and War Elephants must be worth looking at! I doubt its a patch on Techumseh's Roman Civil Wars though.
Just got some photos back from a challenge I did on Saturday. Basically me and my team had to walk up three "mountains" (more overgrown hills really) in one day. Managed to cover 14 miles but it was mostly up and down slopes. The legs are still aching. I'm the handsome one on the left
How did this die!
Most of these scenarios you mention I have never tried, but I'm up for it.
I'll start a thread fort the Roman Civil Wars and see who turns up!
