I dont speak German, but I would guess that this PBEM game has not started yet. If so can i join? I'd like to play as the Soviets I think.
Unfortunately, this game is likely never to start .

As I regard it I personally think it is fairly okay balanced. I've seen all nations do well. But truth be told there has been 5 very different versions throughout the years and it always depend on which players play which civ.
In order to make a real analysis of the balance of a scenario, one has to make a tournament like they did with Bonoparte back in the day at CivFanatics. In this case this would be 5 players (UK-France combined. Could even cut it down to 4 with Germany-Japan combined) playing 5 different PBEMs controlling all seperate civs throughout the 5 PBEMs. That would make for a brilliant report in order to improve the scenario. Anything else is just speculations, even on my part.
It might be unrealistic, taking a lot of time, but we might be a bit more lenient than usual with the bumping. In adition to myself, obviously ( ), that would be 4 more people (or three with axis combined). It's a big commitment and not your regular PBEM commitment, so think before you say yes to make history for a possible BK1936 VI (if anyone does ( )...
Also the only way to declare the ultimate 1936 winner, like the old boney tournament. We could set ut victory conditions (maybe even some VPs that you all know I love ) and make it real intereting!

Hey Eivind!
Sorry I didn't reply earlier, but I had lots of stuff to do. Regarding your idea of playtesting I confess this would be a perfect way to check out the balance, but honestly I can't imagine anyone has interest in playing 4 games parallely with 4 different nations. At least I don't have time for such a project as I hardly could manage to play my current games the last weeks.
What I also imagined, but it's a nice idea though...
