Excellent
That's right but this doesn't mean that unit have to stay one turn on ships before landing.
Do we use the batch file for winter/summer? I am a bit confused over what to do with this and how to start the game. I just started normally and have played my turn. I hope I don't have to play it again
Hope this turn is OK regarding batch files etc...
Did not take too long to play so I can start again if really necessary!
TURN 1
SOVIET DIPLOMATIC STANCE
The Soviet Sphere of Influence incorporates the following countries:
Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, Finland, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria.
Any attack on them will be considered an attack on the Soviet Union.
The Soviet Union supports the independence and neutrality of the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Czechoslovakia, Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Greece, Albania, Turkey and Iran.
The Soviet Union would also like to announce its support for the Republican government of Spain and the Nationalist government of China.
Trade is welcome from any nation!

Das ist genau das, was Eivind mit seiner Regel aussagt. Ich glaub, man sollte auch noch den Ort der Invasion vorher ansagen (Koordinaten), damit es auch Sinn macht.
@Werd: Just open the batch file bk1936-summer-winter and press "4" for MP winter settings. Don't know if they are presetted yet but as it's no rules and events change in the game, a mistake of you woudn't be so dramatic.

Can I do that at any point? Have not moved many units in turn 1, what exactly is the difference between summer and winter (in the game of course!)? Is it just cosmetic?
no, terrains and hence resource and defense values may differ on the map.
Sorry, I thought you said there was no rules or events changes. Do I just change things on my next turn and carry on from there?
