When I started my turn after lunch, there was no post that I have to pay something for trading with London so I sent one Caravan to London. Then I went to look soccer and when I came back I saw this...
I wouldn´t have sent any caravan to London knowing the fee. I´m not willing to pay anything for trade, especially because I got very less...So I offer England to sent 1 caravan to one of my cities at the coast and we are quit.
Exept this, French and British caravans will have to pay a fee of 25 gold from now one for trading with one of my cities at the border. Setting one foot on german ground is prohibited. Again, this only counts for England and France.

What I mean is that your traders should go directly from their ships into the port rather than offload and move across country blocking my roads!

Oh, and BTW Russia would like to follow France and Britain's greedy example and impose a 25g tariff on exports from those countries. Germany and Italy do not need to pay this tariff!

If you saw the notice after the turn was played, forget about the fee. And didn't you see my warning in post #36? I warned everybody that London trade was down to 29, instead of 51 because of a government collapse (the Brit Fleet on the high seas caused half the cities in Britain to riot).

Like I said above, forget about any fee, or reparation since you didn't see it before you played. The way I see it, you should have landed the caravan and waited until Britain wasn't in anarchy. Do you want to replay your turn? Otherwise, you practically wasted the caravan that traded with London.

EDIT: I won't play my turn until Cobra answers. I don't want to play my turn just to hear him say, "Yes I want a replay."

Fine with me. Permission from your Foreign Minister to send a few Caravans to your oil field cities in the Middle East?

Your traders may trade with Batumi (7 trade), Jerevan (10 trade) or Baku (25 trade). Grozny and Tbilisi are off limits!

Odessa (29 trade) on the Black sea may be a good destination. In the north Leningrad (19 trade) is the best destination. I will endeavour to increase the trade arrows for all these cities asap.

The ban on trading with the interior is not such a bad thing as Baku, Odessa and Leningrad are amongst the highest trade arrow producing cities in the USSR at present.

I'm still a beginner when it comes to trade; I'm sure I don't realize the full effect of it. There doesn't seem to be all that much difference in revenue for the # of trade arrows that the target city has.

What do you mean? Difference between what?

Maybe I should elaborate on that. My logic for setting up the toll for London was because it (when not in anarchy) had 51 trade, which is better than any cities I can find in Europe. I would be trading with European cities that have about 30 trade, and they would be getting more revenue trading with London. Or so I think, after trading/testing some more, there might not be much of a difference in revenue, between, say, Berlin and London even with trade arrow # difference, and therefore no reason for the fee.

Hmm, hmm ... don't know. There is a formula to calculate the revenues you get. I don't remember it though.
