Sorry to bother you guys but I'm having a hard day trying to figure out how I could play by email.

I got this error when I opened a civfile "can not load version 101, expected version 100" and when I've googlized the web about that and I got a link to your forum :

Would you please provide me with a translation of the solution (if any). Do I need a patch ? I've none installed so far.

Yes, you need the patch 1.09, you can download it directly from the ingame menu. version 100 is a savefile from the unpatched version of Civ4, savefile version 101 ist form the patched version of Civ4.

that feature to keep your civ up to date is just totally awesome i used it and it solved the problem.
