Zeri:
I'm not an expert on all the mechanics of the game, so I may be mistaken
on some things.
1. I built a city with the settler north of Washington in the settler's
current location and then gifted that city along with Ruinview and
Cervoise to GCA (Accepted and Sent).
2. I then advanced to GCA's turn and accepted the deal and then gifted
Wines back to GWT (Accepted and Sent).
3. I then advanced through all the remaning teams (without moving troops
or performing any actions other than end turn) back to GWT's turn in
790ad. I accepted the Wines.
4. No rioting occurred and no crashes occurred.
5. I also loaded the 790ad save you provided and accepted the Wines from
GCA. In this scenario, the cities did riot as you described.
Is it possible that in 780ad, you changed something (slider settings,
etc) that may have made the wines critical to the happiness in those
towns? It seems that the happiness of towns is determined at the very
beginning of the turn, and at that point, your towns did not have access
to the Wines yet as the deal with GCA had not been accepted yet.
In 780ad, GCA won't show anything in their diplomacy details because the
deal isn't concluded yet. The Wines won't be transferred until GWT
accepts the deal in their next turn.
I was able to access the current ROP deal and resend it to GCA in 780ad.
By clicking on the Active Deals button on the bottom of the screen and
clicking on Right of Passage, it allowed me to resend the deal to GCA.
Is this not working for you in this way?
Essentially, from what you've sent me, it seems that some of the bugs
you've described are natural results from timing issues. I don't know
what to say about the crashes, though, as I could not reproduce those
events.
