    Werde aus Zeitgründen das Spiel erstmal wieder weglegen und dann hoffentlich um Weihnachten beenden. Habe mich aber noch zu Dlvl 52 durchgeschlagen und damit weiter, als mit der Zauberin damals, die ja leider auf Ebene 51 gestorben ist.

    Es läuft doch gut, gerade da ich schon 5 (!) Zauberbücher gefunden habe. Kein Vergleich zu damals, als ich nur das Resistenzbuch hatte. Keine Ahnung, wie ich da überhaupt bis lvl 51 durchgehalten hatte... die Gegner sind doch mittlerweile meist resistent gegen alle Basisschadensarten und wenn man dann nur noch Magic Missile (avg dmg von 20) gegen Gegner mit 2000HP einsetzen kann ist das doch ein wenig suboptimal... .
    Allerdings ist es auch irgendwie eine Verpflichtung, den Run jetzt durchzuziehen, schliesslich dürfte es extrem hart werden, die Bücher nochmal so schnell zu finden.
    Und es sind echt coole Sprüche dabei,die allerlei exotischen Schaden verursachen. Und Mana Storm mit Lvl42 (wobei ich befürchte,dass der Spruch am Ende bei ner Fehlerquote von 25%+ landen könnte und damit wohl eher ungeeignet für Morgoth ist).
    Beim Equip habe ich letztens etwas gewechselt. Nexus und Shard Resistenz raus,dafür Schutz vs Sound, Stunning,Nether,Chaos und Poison rein. Bin nämlich schon nem Drolem begegnet, der ja leider nicht von Telepathie angezeigt wird und üblen Poison Dmg hat. Wenn ich dem ohne magische Resistenzen (via Spell) begegnet wäre, hätte der mich einfach umpusten können. Zur Sicherheit schleppe ich aber atm noch den Umhang vs Shards mit, um ggf zu wechseln.
    HP waren lange ultra niedrig (200-300), aber jetzt mit steigendem Level und Con Wert geht es langsam besser, die 500HP sind gerade frisch geknackt .
    Leider habe ich es immer noch nicht geschafft,das +10 Speed Schwert reinzunehmen, da sonst zu viel verloren geht. Das ist auch noch ein Manko generell, bin doch noch recht langsam (nur 13 BaseSpeed + 10 von HaseSelft) und habe schon einige (Unique-)Gegner mit "extremely quickly" gesehen (müsste +30 sein).
    Summa summarum lief es aber insgesamt doch echt gut bisher. Bin gespannt, wie es dann im Dezember weiter geht. Freue mich schon,denn das Spiel macht immer noch wirklich großen Spaß !

    Ich spiele rogue-like Spiele nur zwischendurch. ADOM schon seit Jahren, ohne es jemals geschafft zu haben. Aber schlalex motiviert. Hat schon mal wer Angband gelöst?

    Das hoffe ich doch . Das Spiel ist zu gut, um es nie durchgespielt zu haben. Mondi ist ja ein ganz erfahrener Kämpe,der das Game schon oft durchgespielt hat. Ich habe das aber auch schon geschafft ,damals mit dem Paladin .
    Den kann ich auch nur empfehlen, wenn du es ebenfalls mal packen willst, denn es ist doch ein Stück weit einfacher,als zb mit dem Magier.

    Ich hatte mal gelesen, Angband sei so gut wie unlösbar.

    Da ich die Saves nicht sichere, ist das bei solchen Spielen bei mir auch so. (Ich weiß allerdings nicht, ob das bei Angband auch geht.)

    Es ist schwer und wegen des Permadeaths besonders für Anfänger. Man kann nicht wie bei anderen Spielen einfach einen alten Spielstand laden, wenn der Charakter stirbt, das wird nämlich ins savefile geschrieben. Man kann das zwar umgehen, aber das gilt als Cheaten.

    Schon klar, ich will so wie so nur fair gewinnen, deswegen werde ich es wohl nie lösen. Ist zwar irgendwie auch schade, aber alles andere würde mir keinen Spaß machen.

    Keine Sorge,das Spiel kann man auch gut ohne Cheaten bestehen. Man muss halt vorsichtig vorgehen, immer eine sichere Fluchtmöglichkeit besitzen und sich stets klarmachen, dass man mit Permadeath spielt.
    Dann noch eine relativ simpel zu spielende,aber starke Klasse wie Paladin nehmen - dann wird das schon was .
